Alexa Quote - Is it time to wake up yet?

I feel really badly that Alexa is the one with all the quotes but....gezz...she is just so funny. All of the other kids say pretty normal things, but I'll have to start putting them here too. This was part of a conversation we had in her bed after we just finished her bedtime story.

Alexa: Mom, when is it going to be morning?
Amy: When you wake up.
Alexa: I'm awake now..... giggle....so it's morning! giggle.

Alexa Quote - Potty

Alexa was very upset because it was time to go to bed and she wanted to take a bath at night instead of in the morning. I picked her up and set her on the toilet after physically dressing her myself. She was VERY upset with me.

Amy: Did you finished going potty.
Alexa: No, I'm holding it. I"m not going potty because you won't let me take a bath!
Amy: But then you'll go potty in your bed tonight.
Alexa: No...... I'm going to wake up in the night and come in your room, then I'm going to go potty all over your bed and clothes. (with any of my other 3 children the sentence would end here...but this is Alexa.)
Here is the full sentence...
Alexa: I'm going to wake up in the night and come in your room, then I'm going to go potty all over your bed and clothes so you'll have to buy new clothes naked! (followed by satisfied little laugh)

SIGH.... she's always keeping us laughing.

Alexa is always making us laugh...what a character. Keep in mind that she is 5!
Alexa: "Daddy what do you call Sunday?"
Jay: "Sunday"
Alexa: "But what is it's name?"
Jay: "Sunday"
Alexa: "Oh..........I will call it Tuesday."

Lylian is watching Matthew at our house. Mon, Tue, & Thur. Noah is a great helper and Matthew is doing great!

Noah is out of nursery and a new Sunbeam in Primary now. He is sooo excited and wore his sunbeam crown all over!

New Years Eve! Memories of Grandpa!

We had friends over and BBQ'd in the snowy backyard new years Eve.
As I was cooking the Steaks in the snow the smell took me back to Grammy & Grandpa's back deck with Grandpa BBQing for all of us. It made me miss Grandpa and remember how much he loved me. There is nothing quite like Grandpa's smile as he held out his finger covered with "lick me" meat juice. As a side note...my steaks didn't hold a candle to Grandpa's cooking!
